Your 2019 ACCTV TOP THREE movies

The past year had such an exciting mix of dramatic, emotional, thrilling, romantic, funny and downright entertaining films with stories of faith, inspiration, truth, hope, love and redemption. Such a hard task we gave you to choose only 3 favourites! But…the people have spoken and here they are…your ACCTV TOP THREE movies of 2019.

The TOP THREE start Friday night, January 3rd and then continue on Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th for your NUMBER ONE movie (all films will then be available on Catchup at ACC.TV/NOW and on our apps.)

At number THREEAll of My Heart: The Wedding. After inheriting Emily’s Country Inn, Jenny (Lacey Chabert) and Brian (Brennan Elliott) are not only more in love with each other but they’ve also fallen for the quaint inn itself and the three goats that live there. You’ve fallen in love with them all too, and it’s no surprise that this third installment of the All of My Heart trilogy has made it into the top three. Now it’s time for Jenny and Brian to get married, but naturally enough, there’s trouble brewing! A distant relative blows into town declaring that if they can’t buy her out, they’ll have to sell their beloved inn to pay her back what she’s owed. Whatever will they do?! The town rallies around them, but will it be enough to save their home, their livelihood and their marriage?

All of My Heart: The Wedding airs Friday, January 3rd at 8:00pm and then on Catchup.

Your SECOND favourite movie of 2019 was Heaven is for Real

Greg Kinnear and Kelly Reilly star in this drama directed by Randall Wallace. Based on the true story novelised by Todd Burpo (portrayed by Kinnear), the film recounts the day when his son Colton had a near-death experience. After coming round from an emergency operation to save his life, Colton begins talking about how he met his great grandfather who died 30 years before he was born and also his sister whom his mother, Sonja (Reilly) had miscarried. When his parents ask him how he knows about these people Connor explains that he met them in Heaven. As Todd and Sonja attempt to deal with the possibility that their son has actually been to Heaven, their neighbours start to question their sanity.

Heaven is for Real airs Saturday, January 4th at 7:00pm and then on Catchup.

Last, but certainly not least…your favourite ACCTV movie premiere of 2019 is another incredible true story, Soul Surfer.

Soul Surfer is the inspiring true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton. Bethany (AnnaSophia Robb) was born to surf. A natural talent who took to the waves at a young age, she was leading an idyllic life on Kauai, participating in national surf competitions with her best friend Alana (Lorraine Nicholson), when everything changed. On Halloween morning, a 14-foot tiger shark came out of nowhere and seemed to shatter all her dreams. Soul Surfer reveals Bethany’s fight to recover from her ordeal and how she grappled with the question of her future. Strengthened by the love of her parents, Tom (Dennis Quaid) and Cheri (Helen Hunt), and supported by her youth group leader Sara (Carrie Underwood), Bethany refuses to give in or give up, and begins a bold return to the water.

Our NUMBER ONE movie for 2019, an inspiring story of determination and faith, Soul Surfer airs on Sunday, January 5th at 8:00pm and then on Catchup.
