If you haven’t watched the Compassion Stories series, then I highly recommend you clear your Tuesday nights and pencil this in your diary now.
Each week on the program, we’re taken to a different part of the world (Africa, South America, India and Asia) to hear the personal stories of those who have experienced amazing transformations in their lives, thanks to the work of the Compassion Child Sponsorship Program.
We hear about the journey of individuals and families as they search for hope in their different circumstances of poverty and desperation.
Program Director, Tim Skinner says the project took about a year and a half to complete.
“The heart of this project is to highlight how people came from very different circumstances. They overcame these circumstances and found a way to make a difference in the lives of others,” he said.
In our interview with Tim, he shares how the series impacted him, including one particularly powerful story that left a memorable mark from his time filming in East Indonesia.
